I am an employee at a La-z-boy store in
Columbia SC. Let me tell you about
fabric protection. It is in a spray bottle, literally sprayed on and let dry for 2 hours. It does work for about 6 months until constant sitting and standing literally wears it off. It costs $50 for a
recliner, $100 for a
sofa. Commissioned sales people get 65% of that price. Cost of the product for a chair is $3 and $5 for a
sofa. We have been told that any percentage of customers less than 90% taking the
fabric protection in unacceptable. The sale prices of
furniture is grossly misrepresented also. Regular price may say $2,100 now $599. It is more like $999 now $599. Also, be aware that
furniture sold off the floor is sold as having
fabric protection on it already, when it, in fact, does not. Beware !!!
