The recliner I bought for $800 less than 2 years ago popped the buttons on the back. They were all loose and coming off. The chair is used regulary, but not in a way to pull all the buttons off. When I called Laz-y-boy, they said the warranty was up, and I would have to pay for repair. It cost $130 to have someone come and and tighten up the buttons. I am not happy that the company did not stand by their product. I purchased a second chair and am glad to say that it does not have buttons.

They stand by their warranty, they don't just pop like that. Second of all, the labor is not warrantied past 1 year, no company in his right mind would do that. It would cost them a fortune. Your complaint should be with the company that came out, not La-Z-boy.

Normal wear and tear would not POP the buttons off of a recliner. You should pay the $130 and get over it.
