Don't buy La-z-boy recliners the
fabric will not hold up. I bought a
recliner 16 months ago and the
fabric already is wearing through. Warranty is only 12 months and La-z-boy refuses to do anything after warranty expires. Call store referred me to
customer service. Will not help you after warranty time had expired. No discount, no nothing. I truly recommend that anybody looking for recliners or
furniture don't buy from La-Z-Boy it is not worth the
money and
customer service is worthless. Stay way from La-Z-Boy
furniture IT WILL NOT LAST.

It may state that the fabric is only warranted for 1 year, the question is why? I have a Lazy Boy that is over 20 years old and the chenille fabric only started to wear out about 5 years ago. If Lazy Boy's (and others) fabric suppliers have gone so far downhill, why are we paying so much for substandard standards?

Read your warranty. If they would do something for everybody that whines, they would go bankrupt.

nothing is meant to last and especially if you sit on it, but weight could also be an issue.

All mfgr's use the same mills to get there fabrics. You can buy a lane or a la-z-boy.

It states on the lazboy tag attached to the recliner that there is a 1 year warranty on the fabric of their recliners. That is standard through out the recliner industry. You might want to read next time.
