I special ordeded a sofa and loveseat from Lazeboy last August, 2007. I finally received everything I ordered in Novemeber, 2007.

When the order arrived I was stunned to see that the napped fabric I special ordered was put on the furniture in different directions, making the sofa and loveseat have a light and dark effect. It's VERY noticeable. Some cushions are very dark, and others are shaded very light. The upholsterer must have either NOT cared about how he did the job, or he was NOT familiar with covering furniture with napped fabric.

In addition to all this, the seams are coming apart, there are flaws running thru the fabric, and there are a couple of holes on the inside portion of the loveseat.

I wish I had checked the internet before buying the furniture. We took the owner to small claims court, but miraculously she won!! So, BUYER BEWARE!!!

Lazeboy does NOT produce the quality products it once did, and they do NOT care about fixing problems that come up. I am now stuck with $3200.00 of furniture that I haven't even sat on yet, and get sick to my stomach everytime I look at it. I feel totally ripped off, and hope that someone will read this and not make the same mistake I did.

Do NOT purchase from the Stockton, CA store. In fact, I would recommend NOT purchasing ANY Lazeyboy product, as they do NOT care about the quality of their workmanship. They also do NOT give out a warranty card UNTIL your funiture is delivered. So, if you must purchase this brand, make sure you READ every line of your contract, and ask to see the warranty BEFORE the purchase.

This company is a legal thief.

we purchased two chairs and a sofa from LaZBoy in Santa Rosa, California. The two chairs have been delivered, but the sofa is still awol, though we paid in full 2 months ago. The sofa was damaged and needs repairs. The warehouse manager says the ordered replacement piece "should have been received awhile ago" but he doesn't know where it is, nor how to find out when he will get it. His only suggestion is for us to "call the owner". I expect better service after having paid over three thousand dollars.

I purchased 2 Lazy-e-boy Harbor Town Cream Leather Recliners in Feb 2009, & in May 2009 started using one of them, the other still unused. After about 5 weeks of continuous use I noticed the padded arms were getting quite squashed & not going back into shape very quickly. I moved the chair into the day light to see how bad the arms were & to my absolute horror,I noticed the leather on the arms, seat & back where you sat had a purple tinge (fabric dye transfer was all I could think it would be as my very old PJs are navy blue). After emails, phone calls, & visits I have now been given a replacement chair.

But now I feel I need to cover the chair when I use it to prevent any type of dye transfer & what is my pet HATE, "chairs with covers" on them. Covers will now be part of my life. My beautiful expensive cream leather chairs are ornaments if not covered, instead of useful furniture. Nowhere in the written information supplied nor when purchase was made was the probability of fabric dye transfer advised.

I purchased a recliner in July of 2007. As soon as I sat in it there was a cracking sound like broken wood. The repair man came out and replaced the springs, and still could not detrermine the problem. They replaced the chair . Less than 2 years later I hear a loud pop when I rock forward. The warranty is only for 1 year, so they refer you to a local repair man. Hw wanted $150 to come out and repair it. I might as well buy a new chair. Lazeboy Furnture is not what it used to be. The quality is very bad.

The fabric gets cut and sewn a certain way. After that process the upholsterer can only put the materials onto the chair the way it fits on there. So it is not the upholsterers fault.

There is something missing in this story if you lost your case. Most courts tend to protect consumers over companies. No one wins a court case with miracles, they win when they are correct.
