I bought a recliner from lazy boy in oct, 2011. Within 2 weeks, the mechanism to lower the recliner started making a popping noise and is hard to close.

Also, the material began to fray. I called my salesperson back at the Grapevine, Tx store, and they said they would have someone call me the next day. I only bought this chair because I have terminal cancer and I figured it would be a good chair since it was lazy boy and I paid $900.00. No one ever called.

By the end of nov, I was in ICU. When my daughter came over andsaw the chair, she was appalled. She called lazy boy, told them the same thing I did, and they wouldn't let me return it, but again said they would get someone out to look at it. Still, no one came.

I called them again, nag they told me when they talked to my daughter, she told them they couldn't come out. That was a lie. I am sick of lazy boy and their craziness. Once they have your money, they don't care about you or your satisfaction.

They have the worst quality of furniture and customer service. Don't shop there. If I would have looked at the major complaints on their website, I never, never would have purchased this junk.

Even if the repair it, it is still junk. Like putting lipstick on a pig.

Monetary Loss: $900.

Location: Dallas, Texas

I've had a full set of their junk for about 10 years. Mechanisms don't work properly and never have.

Seams came out. here is *** in the cushion material the size of a soft ball that they fixed by wadding up duct tape and shoving it in.

I won't even go in the store again. I've lost in the neighborhood of $5k

If you think they treat customers bad, imagine how they treat employees. I was diagoned with pulmonary fibrosis from exposure to the toxic chemicals they use, they have been fighting my workers comp for 2 years and now the case is in the Supreme Court .. tells you what kind of company they are!!!

With Lazy Boy broken springs are the norm, and there supposed รขโ‚ฌล“life timeรขโ‚ฌย warrantee on these parts meaningless in light of the fact that it costs a fortune in labor and other undisclosed costs to get one of these things repaired -- truly a junk product.
