The lazy boy makes a lot of noise. the fabric protection they ask for only came after the sale of the chair which i paid for in cash and the chair is now stained so the money i spent for protection does not work. my wife told our friend's and let them try the chair's and they said the same thing we said that the chair's we paid for is a junk.they make so much noise that the tenant down stairs thought that someone fell and she came up to see that everything was fine. now she is use to the noise and will also not recommend the chair to anyone.

La-Z-Boys make a snapping noise when you release the handle! Keep your weight toward the back of the chair and lift the handle slowly and it will "snap" a lot quieter. They are still the best recliners made and will work for many years. I have tried all the other and La-Z-Boys out live them all!
