I purchased a $3,000 reclining leather sofa and chair and a half from La Z Boy June 2006. After 6 months the seats on the recliner sofa started to chaff and wear like it was peeling. It is just my son and me sitting on this and both of us weigh less than 200 lbs combined! They replaced the seats as they agreed it was not "normal wear". A month or two later the chair started ot show signs as well-they replaced that seat. Now I am starting to complain again, because now it is 6 months after the couch has been fixed-and guess what? Showing signs again. La Z Boy currently has my couch, I have nothing to sit on except the chair and I have seen the Tech for Lazy Boy more than some of my close relatives in the past year! I am waiting to see what they do-they have been dodging me for a month, I have been ignored by Managers and Customer Service and Corporate. What to take from this-do not buy LazY Boy leather furniture, pay for something much less and perhaps you will get more! The quality that is perceived with this company, is not reality and I have wasted my money and am probably out $3,000.
