Bought myself a $900.00 leather recliner four years ago to go with my new/first house...The nice tan leather turned white where my head rests after about year two. A two dollar bolt broke last week and I can no longer use the foot rest..I called customer service and was told I'll have to drive it across town and leave it for 3 to 5 days. The lifetime warranty on the parts isn't going to do much. The $100.00 labor charge on the other...

etyaekle Amen! They (La-Z-Boy) have been producing garbage for at least ten years, now! Sad, because they were the best at one time.

In Aug 30 2011 we bought $3600.01 of furniture from there Oxnard Ca store. We gave them our check for $1800.01 a month later we went in person to the store and paid balance off with a credit card. Two weeks later in mid October the furniture was delivered and everything was OK. In December we got a letter from there collection company that said the check we gave them in August bounced. We checked with our bank and found out La z boy never...

Paid $3000, had furniture for 2 weeks when the material started to get deep wrinkles in it. Stuffing in seats is crumpled and bumpy. Opened up a ticket with service center. Rep came out and took pics. Didin't get a call for over 6 weeks so I called them back. Was told my problem was a charactistic of the material. I'm embarrassed to tell people this is new furniture. It looks like it's 15 year old furniture. Lazyboy is WAY...

Last April, I purchased two sleeper (slumber air) sofas for my mothers house. Since I purchased one 10 years ago for my place and loved it - I went ahead and told the salesman in Brick, NJ that I would need two (Kiefer and Daphne models) that could accommodate use 2 nights per week. He assured me that the could take more, he "guaranteed" that would not be a problem. WELL, IT HAS BEEN A PROBLEM!!!! In one year, I have replaced 1 air valve and...

The BBB (Better Business Bureau) has a rating of F for La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Columbus, Ohio. My 93 year old father purchased a leather La-Z-Boy recliner. Recently the leather began fading badly on the headrest. La-Z-Boy refuses to cover the chair under warranty. The chair cost nearly a $1,000 and the leather should not have faded in less than a year. La-Z-Boy claims we did not care for the...

We purchased this sectional sofa with upgraded fabric in Nov of 2011. It did arrive and smell of chemicals, but I had the stain protection applied, so I figured the smell would wear away, which it seemed to. In October, I lost my job (registered dental hygienist), so have unfortunately been spending more time on my sofa. In the past few weeks, I've developed a rash all over my body. I changed my shampoo, soap, laundry detergent and still...

I purchased a sofa from La Z Boy Galleries in Columbus, OH (Polaris) a few months ago. The sofa was delivered eight weeks later and almost immediately I noticed it wasn't very comfortable: the seating had no support and wasn't very resilient and the backing was unevenly stuffed. I figured I'd wait a day or two to see if maybe I was imagining things. After a couple of days I decided I wasn't just imaginging things and that this La...

I am an employee at a La-z-boy store in Columbia SC. Let me tell you about fabric protection. It is in a spray bottle, literally sprayed on and let dry for 2 hours. It does work for about 6 months until constant sitting and standing literally wears it off. It costs $50 for a recliner, $100 for a sofa. Commissioned sales people get 65% of that price. Cost of the product for a chair is $3 and $5 for a sofa. We have been told that any percentage of...

My husband and I went into the La-Z-boy furniture store in Northridge, California. We found a set of furiture that we liked so we decided to place an order. So after ordering a sofa, chair, and ottomon, with a "custom fabric", and "custom pillows" the total came out to $3,300!! I really wanted the furniture though and hadn't found anything anywhere else so we just decided to go with it. When we made the order, our La-Z-Boy associate...
