We have owned nine Lazyboys in our 45 year marriage. However, the last two which we purchased in July of 2015 in the Springfield, Il, store have had to be in for repairs. The first of the repairs was done while still under warranty. However, one of the chairs broke again in the same place, and we had to take it back in. It will cost us $300 in labor for a chair less than two years old. That is too much to pay for a chair. Our experience with...

What a surprise when I called for repair service on my recliner and was told I would have to pre-pay $109.00 for an hour service call to replace a defective part. I was reluctant to do this, but was assured the technician would have the correct part when he arrived and the replacement would be straightforward. Because i wanted the chair functional before the family CHristmas , I agreed to schedule the repair. Ten days later when the technician...

We bought two chairs last January and this has been the Worst experience I've ever had! These chairs sag! They give us headaches and the lazy boy customer service "if you want to call them that" makes you wait up to ten minutes on the phone to even hear what your issue is! Then when you do get placed on the fix and repair list its two weeks till they come out to assess what the problem is! Then they order what they think will adjust the chair and...

A year ago the opera lift wasn't working and I suspected motor but my sister had similar issues and fix was costly. Used as a regular chair and suddenly it was working find. Seems handle wiring is loose. Called and was told handle was no longer available. there is a new handle but requires new wiring of chair. Kit is over$400 and requires...

Lazy Boy finally agreed with my issue - they have given me a store credit - plan on going next week to pick out another recliner..will not be getting one like I've had all these problems with. The last problem was so bad that I refused the chair and then after several weeks heard from Lebco - been working with Ms. Porsche she has been very helpful with this problem. As I have mentioned they were re-pairing 1 piece at a time. Last straw...

We have an expensive LaZboy leather motorized recliner. Long story short the chair would not totally close. Called the service center and the poor service started. You never talk to a human, just leave a message where they promise to call within 24 hours. Not so.. they do not return calls until you leave many messages. Eventually we arranged for the service center to send out a tech at a cost of $75 to diagnose the problem. In less than 5...
