My wife and I purchased a James Sofa from Slumberland in March of 2016, after 2 mounts the seat cushion on the right side started to sag. A tech came and check and ordered a new seat, another 2 months we got a new seat cushion, but while waiting for the right seat the left side started sagging. When the tech came to replace the right cushion, he checked the left side and ordered a new left side cushion. A mother 2 months waiting for a new left...Read more
I bought furniture two years ago, and the quality of the furniture is really poor and I paid more money for it.I will put pictures on here to show you the quality of the furniture that was taken just two months after I purchased it. What's even worse is how angel and Alice spoke with me about trying to help me get my furniture repaired. The only thing she could do is just recite the warranty guidelines. Whatever happened to the day when...Read more
When we purchased our La-Z-Boy, we were told it was 100% real leather. I do not see a real quality la-z-boy in these pictures (see attached facebook website). Started peeling after the one year warranty expired. Peeling and total garbage for something costing $3,000. https://www.facebook.com/La-z-boy-problem-923417027778023/?ref=br_rs Contacted La-Z-Boy and the material was discontinued and they will not provide a replacement, other than a...Read more

Talked into a more expensive sofa with the promise of it being best for my back problems. It wasn't, it was hard as a rock and caused more pain.

Poor quality. Looked for comfortable furniture so got lazy boy. Not very comfortable. Swivel chair creaks, recliner sofa requires too much leg strength to lower footrest.

Terrible experience! My brand new sofa came with very strange colors and some one came and change only the arm, after waiting almost 3 months , we call again and the company said that our case was closet!
Several months ago, we visited Laz-Z-Boy show room, Dickson City, Pa.We were assisted by a sales Mgr, Jillian. We looked at several pieces. Jillian was totally uninformed of the furniture, warranties, etc. We had to interrupt her constant babble about her daughter. Upon leaving, we knew more about her daughter than we chose. We ordered a couch, love seat and a rug for approximately $6k. Jillian a advised a 6 wk delivery. After 5 weeks, we called...Read more
We have the same experience with our sleeper sofa purchased in 2013 with a five year extended warranty for the bonded leather-- and are told that because the peeling is not caused by an accident, it is not covered by our extended five year warranty. Why alienated your customers by refusing to recover obvious manufacter-flawed material? To put the burden of reupholstery on the customer is unconscionable. A company of integrity would reupholster...Read more
I fell in love with the Dexter couch ($2,175.10 on sale) at La-Z-Boy but I kept looking just in case I could find something that would actually be supportive for my back. On one of my trips to the store, a sales person showed me a remote control lumbar support sofa. I was impressed but I also could not afford it ($3,806.54 on sale!). I still went on to spend weeks debating what I should do. I finally had decided on the Dexter couch when another...Read more

I have had my Lazyboy sofa for a few months here in 2016.It was delivered with the frame fractured, barely noticeable. The back of the sofa on one end was leaning back a bit vs the other 2 back sections. Service came out, they placed an order for a new back. That didn't work because it was the frame, particle board, (OSB) that secured the back that was fractured. And over time, it progressively had gotten worse. Leaning back as far as 5 inches....Read more
Yup they have a lifetime warranty on the mechanism, springs and frame...but those are really not the bulk of the cost of repair. The technician's visits are what you will be dinged for. Contacted the firm "la-z-boy through another site - the recommended repair person only repairs the mechanism - whoooppee any monkey with a bit of sense a couple or tools and patience can repair the mechanism.the rest of these pieces of junk will be put in the...Read more
