We purchased a LazyBoy sectional sofa in November 2016. We had had a cheaper sectional sofa that had not help up very well, so decided to go with LazyBoy BECAUSE of their reputation for quality.
We paid top dollar – and got less than bargain-basement quality. Their repair guy has been to our house four (4) times to replace padding, trying to help the squeaks and creaks, trying to help the 'stuck' uncooperative recline function. FOUR TIMES in one year!! We have asked him to explain what is happening with our sofa.
He has said, much to his frustration and embarrassment, that LazyBoy has cut their quality - in the materials and the building process. Well, that has been painfully apparent. What they did not cut was their price. Our conclusion –– LazyBoy has succumbed to Corporate Greed.
Screw us, the customer. Line the pockets of the CEO's. We could not be more disappointed. We have begged for our money back.
At this last repair job one week ago, we were told that we would need to send back to their shop two of the five seats of the sectional. What?? What are we supposed to do with two missing seats?? If we, or the kids, or the puppies gets injured by falling through this "broken up sofa" we will sue.
Please do not every buy from LazyBoy. Let our sour experience safe you the grief – and your hard-earned monies.
