I wished I had read these complaints before I bought LazyBoy

Poor Quality and TERRIBLE customer service

Purchased 2 swivel rockers, basically for design. They sit in an area that no one ever sits in. I'm not a big person and I went to sit in one just momentarily and "CRUNCH". The swivel base broke. The chair has probable not been sat in more than 10 times and its 3 years old. The number for customer service took over 2 hours to reach someone. They scheduled a repairman a month later, AND they take your money for the repair the day you schedule it. The day of repair came and no email, no text, no phone call and another 2+ hours on hold and then I got cutoff!!!

User's recommendation: Don't buy from Lazy boy.

Service on new furniture

Lazboy - Service on new furniture
I am writing on behalf of my mother-in-law who is 77 years old. She purchased over 10k in furniture for her living room. Purchased was 3/27/21 and delivery was on 9/11/21. Parts were broken and missing. 11/3/21 someone came out to fix, but not all of it. Five canceled appts and still broken one year later. New appt on 9/11/22. Almost a year and still not repaired! Horrible service!!

Extremely poor service

Customer care has no hours of operation! Extremely long hold time in excess of 2 hrs and then the call is dropped! I was scheduled for repair for August 12 natter waiting 6 weeks. No one came or called! This type of service is intolerable! Ill never buy Lazy Boy again!

Getting run around trying to get replacement lift chair controller.

Have spent at least 5 hours on hold trying to order lift controller. Got through got case number 720994, they have our name and part. Had to wait for them to call back to talk to parts dept.. They said they had to have someone else call us back to take Our credit card info in 1 to 4 days. Five hours later we went to dinner and of course that's when they called. Called next morning because of course they were closed for the day. Called this morning put on hold for 3 hours and got no answers. Patience wearing thin. HELP,

Need to reschedule service call

I have called 3 times in the last week to try and reschedule a service call and have been on hold for over 5 hours with no success. Store suggested I call at 9 a.m. and have still not been able to get a customer care rep. We are not going to be available on Thursday, July 21 for the scheduled service call. Trying to avoid your technician from showing up with no one here and allowing another customer to have our spot. Very frustrating trying to resolve this.

For Warranty you call Comfort Care. Hours on hold. Called store and they said they would be on hold too. I will never buy from Lazy Boy again.

Service on a 3 month old sleeper couch with leaking air mattress. Called multiple times, on hold for 3 hours. They finally call back and I just missed their call. They should answer your call first when you call back. I will never go into or buy lazy boy again. The couch was a queen sleeper sofa with upgraded air mattress. Now has small leave in seam

Waited almost 2 months for repair service

Purchased top of the line chair...failure to work sometimes.. The mechanic said it was the motor. the motor was sent and the new mechanic immediately saw it was the wrong equipment sent. Turned the chair over and saw the wiring was all wrong. Fortunately he had the right material in his car. I have a broken neck and sat in this one position for 2 months. Customer had to go along with Lazy boy's rules NOT the customer's needs. I don't recommend Lazy-Boy!

Faulty mechanics and material

I had my power sofa reclner for less than 48 hours, the leg rest stopped working, there was no one in store to help trouble shoot it and they told me it would take 20 business days for a repair technician to contact me. Not to mention there is a scratches on the foot...
