My family went to the Lazy Boy Memorial Day Sale 2017, found that the furniture we bought is not family friendly. We returned to the Beachwood location for our refund.

inexperience sales associates not trained in giving refunds attempted to refund my money. I paid $700.00 on my Debit card (because they cannot run a card for credit). I also gave $300. cash.

When the return was finished, the system gave me all $1000.00 back on my CC, May30th, 2017. The "manager" also obviously untrained, attempted to fix the mistake, multiple attempts, unsuccessful! With assurance that the mistake was theirs not mine (pull the video you'll see the time we waited and "all" the associates involved). I left the showroom worry free.

June 2, 2017 three days later Lazy Boy recharged my $1000.00 again, after I had been reimbursed my money. They billed my account again and unauthorized by me (because they have my CC on file). WHAT? Does that give me that right to walk into Lazy Boy Showrooms and “steal” for them?

June 5, 2017, three days later when I noticed my account short funds and checks bouncing I called Lazy Boys Corporate offices on 10 different calls/attempts to try to resolve my issues that their company concurred, I got nowhere. The corporate offices (on every call) continued to tell me that it wasn’t their error to fix and continued to transfer me all 10 calls back to the Beachwood Ohio location. Lazy Boy Beachwood repeatedly told me it had to be done through corporate, she didn’t know why they continued to send my call back to their store. Hours and hours of back and forth on the phone I finally buckled and gave permissions to put the $700.00 monies back to my bank account and send me the $300.00 cash into check through the postal mail.

Reasons I did not want the money put back so quickly was because Lazy Boy would not admit this to be their fault and cannot/could not guarantee all negative fees concurred to my bank account would be their held as their responsibility, Lazy Boy doesn’t find themselves at fault. Next day, today June 7, 2017 still no money has deposited back into my account! I was told on June 5, 2017 that money was deposited back into my account and the check sent out to me, that was supposed to be done at 4pm Monday June 5, 2017. LAZY BOY HAS STILL NOT RETURNED MY MONEY TO ME.

My account still in negative numbers. Wednesday June 7th, 2017 Money returned on May 30, 2017. Taken June 2, 2017. I realized my account was Negative on June 2, 2017.

I didn’t have and available funds for the entire weekend. It’s now Wednesday June 7, 2017 and I’m still waiting for MY MONEY!
