A year ago we purchased what we thought was a high quality and certainly high priced recline-a-way recliner. in that time, twice I had to personally repair the reclining hardware, finally using an airplane nut on the retaining bracket to stop disconnecting from footpad.

one year into owning, now the "memory-foam" product under leather is separating from frame. A tech visit today confirmed this, and stated a new bottom half of the chair needs replaced, several weeks out. We are very disappointed in the quality of this chair, and would like the opportunity to return for store credit and possibly find something that does not fall apart. It seems there is no one to talk too about that possibility.

please know that I do not recommend purchasing a la-z-boy product until they can prove their furniture is of the same quality that they were known for in the past. It is not the same.
