Have a rocker/recliner for less than two years and the frame on the seat back failed. Even though the frame is warranted, they would not repair the chair free under warranty because it is an upoloseterd chair. The fabric did not fail, but they would not repair or replace the seat back frame, under warranty, because it is upolstered. Yes, they will sell a new chair back to the store where we purchased the item, but they would not repair the damaged frame that is under a lifetime warranty for the reason stated. If we decided on a repair, then all labor and not having the chair for some unknown time while being repaired, is not covered! So, buyer beware, even though the company claims a lifetime frame warranty, the warranty is worthless! Shame on La-Z-Boy, they do not care about the customer.

Lesson here is BUYER BEWARE! Stay away from La-Z-Boy and their poorly manufactured products as well as their lack of standing behind their products, and their total lack of concern for their customers.

This reviewer shared experience about poor customer service and wants this business to "discount on frame on a new seat back" as the author lost $670. The author is overall dissatisfied with Lazboy. The most disappointing about lazboy recliner from Lazboy was rubber stamp answers, defective frame and worthless warranty , but reviewer liked that it once was a good brand. Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
